He was predeceased by: his parents, William Theodore and Genevieve Elizabeth Hansen (Decker); and his brothers, William, Richard, Donald and Daniel Hansen.

He is survived by: his wife Kerry of Doran, MN; his children, Susan Baity (Will) of Pelican Rapids, MN, Carolynn Andersen (Isaac) of Madison, MN and Theodore Jr. Hansen (Ashley) of Moorhead, MN; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Isaac Jr., Emily, Catherine, Annabelle, Joseph Anderson, Lilly Hansen, Liam and Morgan Baity; his brother James Hansen (Sarah); and his nieces and nephews, Lola, Bella, Lena, Svea Hansen, Genni Anderson (Jeremy), Heidi Omar (Albert), Peter Hansen (Carolyn) and Elijah Hansen (Trista).
