She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Helfenstein and Helen Helfenstein (Sloan); and her husband Roger Haakenson. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Guthmiller (Chad Housh) of Montpelier, Shawn Haakenson (Nadine) of Jamestown and Jennifer Holte (Shayde) of Wadena, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Caitlyn, Zach, Tula, Cash and Brody; and her brother Gary Helfenstein (Patricia) of Myrtle Beach. She is also survived by her family and friends.
