He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ament and Clara Ament; his wife Dolores Schmitz; his son Arthur; his siblings, Norbert (Trace), Ray (Ev), Ed, Amelia (Bill Schmitz), Helen (Bob Gorghuber) and Andrew; and his brothers-in-law, Leo Goeden and Urban Keppers.
He is survived by: his children, Vincent Ament (Betty) of Ashland, WI, Vicki Trenda (Albert) and Vollie Ament (Marv Erickson); his grandchild Bennet Johnson (Selina); his great grandchildren, Jacob, Ariel and Jasmine; his granddaughter Emily Ament (Alfredo Urdaneta); his great grandchildren, Zaragoza and Aurelia; his granddaughter Jill Gibbon (Todd); his great grandchildren, Xander and Flint; his siblings, Theresa Goeden of Wadena, MN, Alice Keppers of Tuscon, AZ, Mary Kuntz (Don) of Glenwood, MN, George Ament (Penny) of Coeur and Tom Ament (Pegge) of Bluffton, MN; and his sisters-in-law, Vione Ament and Deane Ament.
