With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ida McLeod of Wadena, Minnesota, born in Cavalier, North Dakota, who passed away on November 28, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gunnar Thomasson and Nancy Thomasson (Groner); her siblings, Jack Thomasson, Gunnar "Butch" Thomasson, Kenneth (Judith Thomasson) and William "Billy" Thomasson; and her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Bullock and Yvonne Herk.
She is survived by: her husband Arnold David McLeod; her children, David McLeod (Jonnie) of Laurel, Montana and Lisa Maloney (Rodney) of Deer Creek; her grandchild Casey Maloney (Stephney) of Sebeka; her children, Jason Maloney (Jess) of Deer Creek, Chelsea Mindermann (Tim) of Wadena, Caitlyn McLeod of New York Mills, Brenden McLeod of Eagle Bend, Hayley Maloney of Socorro and Christian McLeod of Laurel, Montana; her stepgrandchildren, Jaden Guptill of Billings and Tayler Ramirez of Laurel, Montana; and her siblings-in-law, Pat Thomasson of Cavalier, Daniel Herk of Detroit Lakes, Daryl McLeod (Lois) of Hannah and Robert McLeod of Grand Forks. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
