It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Folkestad of Wadena, Minnesota, who passed away on January 3, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Winnifred Lillian Folkestad (Olson) and Howard Folkestad; his sister Jean Leyh; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Terveer and Greg Stromberg.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Folkestad of Wadena; his sons, David II Folkestad (Rachel) of Wadena and Darren Folkestad (Christina) of Wadena; his grandchildren, Brandy and Bailey; and his sisters, Judy Jones (Chuck) of Fort Myers, Florida, Nancy Goehring (Curt), Jeri Terveer of Wadena and Sue Stromberg of Sarasota, Florida. He is also survived by his family and friends.
