She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Holte and Clara Holte (Solum); her husband Elmo; her daughter Elaine Hoke; and her brother Arthur Holte.

She is survived by: her children, Vernon Nelson (Cherie), Paul Nelson (Lynda) and Lois Petricka (David). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
