He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sr. Borgen and Lillian Borgen (Reppen); his wife Joyce Hogenson; his son Greg; and his siblings, John, Charles, Leon, Bert, Doris Eidem and Mae Stennes.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Borgen of Ulen, Steve Borgen (Kathy) of Grand Forks, ND, Brenda Winters (Al) of Story, WY and Marilyn Oxley (Rich); his daughter-in-law Lorie Doran (Tim) of Ulen; his grandchildren, Matt, Brittany, Mark, Crystal, Sean and Nicole; his great grandchild Nellie Holm of Ulen; his siblings, Billy Borgen of Hendrum, MN, Curt Borgen (Betty) of Moorhead, MN, Dennis Borgen of Moorhead, MN and Ann Lindblom (Rex) of Park Rapids, MN; and his sisters-in-law, Elaine Borgen of Moorhead, MN, Helen Gunderson (Don) of Moorhead, MN and Mary Borgen of Dilworth, MN. He is also survived by 60 nieces and nephews.
