She was predeceased by: her husband Lee Peterson of Truman; and her son Todd Peterson. She is survived by: her children, Bryan, Scott, Jay (Kathy) and Andrea Christensen (Tim); her daughter-in-law Cynthia; her grandchildren, Allicia, Calvin, Hayden, Danielle, Chelsey and Eli; her brothers, James Rosenwinkel (Carol) and Edward Rosenwinkel; and her sister-in-law Darlene Rosenwinkel. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family and friends.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Truman Senior Living Center or the Waverly Lutheran Church Music Program.
