He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Sherman and Mildred Sherman (Rahm); his son Scott Sherman; his sister Shirley Karau; and his brothers-in-law, Murten Karau and Jerry Bessler.
He is survived by: his children, Bradley, Deborah and Stephanie (Robin DiPietro); his wife Joanne Sherman; his son Brad (Laurie); his grandchildren, Bobbi (Austin Witt) and Catie Lightfoot (Cole); his daughter Deb; his grandchildren, Jacob Melson and Aline Wilking (Caleb); his daughter-in-law Angie Brantley; his grandson-in-law Alex; his great grandchildren, Aiden Lightfoot, Scarlet, Nova and Sun Green Wilking; his brother Jim (MaryLou Sherman); and also, Dolly Bessler and Jim Johnson (Deb).
