It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlys Halverson of Truman, Minnesota, born in Blue Earth, Minnesota, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Boesch and Olinda Boesch (Karau); her husband Luverne "Herky" Halverson; her parents-in-law, Lloyd and Linda Halverson (Reis); her brother Merlyn Boesch; her brothers-in-law, Dr. Herman Gollwitzer and Kenneth Halverson; and her son-in-law Dr. Warren Doerfler.
She is survived by: her children, Him, Candace Doerfler of Lancaster, CA, Heidi Koeritz (Thomas) of Northrop, MN and Scott Halverson (Dawn) of Truman, MN.; her grandchildren, Lindsey O'Loughlin, Lance Halverson (Kristin), Hayley Luther (Paul) and Mason Koeritz; her great grandchildren, Seth, Elijah Halverson, Jackson, Gavin O'Loughlin and Grant Luther; her siblings, James Boesch (Marion), Thomas Boesch (Linda), Lois Dethloff (Richard), Juleen Gollwitzer and Kathy Hendricksen (Garland); and her siblings-in-law, Jeanne Boesch, Joan Hoelmer Martin and Marlen Halverson (Ginger). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials are preferred to St. Paul's Lutheran School (Truman, MN), St. James Lutheran School (Northrop, MN), or Martin Luther High School (Northrop, MN).
