She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Mathews and Stella Mathews (Williams); her husband George; and her brothers, Neil, Russell and Virgil Mathews.
She is survived by: her daughters, Alice Wittenberg (Galen) of Fifty Lakes, Mary Alms (Wayne) of Walnut Grove and Jane DeSmith (Jim) of Colorado Springs, CO; her grandchildren, Brent Alms (Katie), Jason Alms (Rachel), Jill Alms and Miranda Strand (Mick); her great grandchildren, Amber, Koyer, Riley, Kinley Alms and Bryson Strand; her stepgrandchildren, Summer Schoer (Travis), Sam and Corbin Vogl; her great great grandchild Tegan Schoer; her sister Ellen Miller of New Ulm; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Mathews of Canby. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
