She was predeceased by: her parents, Hattie Halvorson and Stillman Halvorson; her siblings, Margaret Jacobson (Ross), Bernice Cramer (Carl), Alyce Saylor (Charles), William Halvorson (Lorraine), Norma Halvorson and Katherine Woodard (Max); and her grandson Richard Insley.
She is survived by: her spouse Lt. Commander Harry Tegge; her nieces and nephews, Laura, Suzy and Sweden; her daughters, Laura Higgs (Robert) of Cape Coral, FL, Carol Insley (Thomas) of Lake Elmo, MN and Suzy (Joseph Irvin) of Madison, WI.; and her grandchildren, Sara Kalbhenn (Art), Thomas Higgs and Aaron Insley. She is also survived by the youngest of six sisters and one brother, and lost her mother.
Friends could make a donation to their local animal shelter in her name or support Granite House, a nonprofit group home in Stillwater where her grandson, Aaron lives.
