It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Thomas Loida in Stillwater, Minnesota, who passed away on October 22, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Judy Loida and Raymond Loida; and his pets, Max, Howie, Bubba, Chubs, Murdock, Duchess, Betsy, Brooks and Shithead.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Vene-Loida of Bayport; his brother Raymond (Carmen) of Stillwater; his nephew Jason Loida (Lauren) of Stillwater; his parents-in-law, Cathy and Joe Vene of Bemidji; his sisters-in-law, Margaret Vene of Detroit Lakes and Melissa Bartlett (Andy) of Bemidji; his nieces and nephews, Ryan Vene, Angela Lindquist, Matthew Vene, Helen Bartlett and Camille Bartlett; his close friends, Brandon Chase (Sandy) of Park Rapids, Jake Melstrom (Stephanie) of St. Paul, Earl Shim (Robin) of Stillwater, Scot Hendricks (Jenel) of Stillwater and Kevin Overbeek of Bemidji; and his pets, Bruce, JoJo, Teddy and Betty. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
