It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald D Maurer of Stillwater, Minnesota, born in Lead, South Dakota, who passed away on January 7, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Delbert H. Maurer and Vivienne Scott (Cairy); his wife Judy Abbott; his sons, Daniel (Carol) and Joseph (Deirdre Jenkins) of Eau Claire, WI; his grandsons, Joshua and Nathan of Saint Paul, MN; and his siblings, Maurice, Jerry, Donna and Jeanne. He was also cherished by many nephews, nieces, brothers and sisters-in-law, friends, and coworkers.
In lieu of flowers gifts may be sent to the Valley Outreach, the food shelf in Stillwater, MN or to Christ Lutheran Church.
