He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Katherine; his wife Sharon Stern; his son Michael Stern (Sheila); his mother Alma Bredvold of Springfield, MN; his siblings, Ed Stern (Deb) of Goodhue, MN and Carol Evers (Norbert) of Mankato, MN; his father Ewald Stern; his stepfather Ray Bredvold; his father-in-law Vernon Buth; and his nephew Cole Stern. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
