Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Alvin Christian Wille of Springfield, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 100, on May 12, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Wille and Bertha Wille (Rehberg); his wife Christine Vogel of Joseph's Rectory; his siblings, Lydia, Robert, Louise, Frieda, Ervin, Walter, Erna, Florence, Bernice and Ann; and his son-in-law Ken Schons.

He is survived by: his children, Audrey Schons of Sleepy Eye, Dave Wille (Barb) of Lamberton, Ron Wille (Ginny) of Murdock, Gordy Wille (Katy) of Lamberton, Greg Wille (Sandy) of Lamberton and Wendy Wille (Dennis Peck) of Springfield, MO; his siblings-in-law, Eleanor Teicher, Arlene Vogel, Eileen Vogel, Nancy Vogel and Tony Vogel; and his close friends, Steve and Marie Renner of Springfield. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren.

“Alvin was a kind, gentle man. He and Christine always made a person feel welcome. Through the years I was able to visit them often on my way home to Illinois or to North Dakota. They raised 4 sons and two daughters who lived out many of their parent's characteristics, particularly being friendly and quiet. I felt blessed to be able to spend a year in Lamberton when I was on internship and be able to witness my mother and aunt renewing old friendships with their help. Thank you, Alvin!”
