She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Brown Jr.; her parents, Lillie Cooksey and Oliver Cooksey; her brother Oliver Cooksey Jr.; and her granddaughter Ashli Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Angelle Wimes (Larry), Robert Brown III, Ethel Brown, Ginnie Williams (Lawerence), Gabrielle Brown Kreeger, Joseph Brown (LaShonda), Lillie Brown, Arthur Brown, Scott Brown and Jennifer McPherson (Hubert).
