He was predeceased by: his wife Mary. He is survived by: his sons, Mark, Brian (Att) and John (Deborah); his grandchildren, Samantha (Eric), Melissa, Elizabeth, Alex and Mandy (Derek); and his siblings-in-law, Nora Truelson and Mathew Murphy. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
