He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Siem and Hazel Siem (Kahler); his wife Gladys Siem (Brekken); his brothers, Allen and Gerald Siem; and his siblings-in-law, Adolph Brekken, Delores and Mary.

He is survived by: his children, Karen Siem of Livermore, CA and Bruce Siem of St. James, MN; his siblings, Harley, Merlyn (Pauline), Gary (Bonnie), Roger (Barb), Keith, Janet and Joan; and his sister-in-law Mae Brekken. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews & many other Relatives.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association or Alzheimer's Association.
