He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Blanch and Beulah Blanch; his sister Priscilla (Blanch); his nephew Gary Porter; and also Motoko Blanch.
He is survived by: his children, Frederick Jr., William, Lynda and Susan; his grandchildren, Simone, Marley, Erik, Zoe, Rhea and Laura; his niece Cynthia Porter; his nephew Bruce Porter; and his close friend Jean Kalka.
