It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl O. Tollefson of Rochester, Minnesota, born in Mabel, Minnesota, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Palmer Tollefson and Sylvia Tollefson (Kjos); his wife Mavis Martinson; his sister Elaine Eggers (Leon); and his son Randall Tollefson.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Tollefson (Melanie) and Tamara Luther (Tracy); his stepchildren, Jeffery Martinson (Kathy), Terry Martinson (Zeeonadai) and David Martinson (Angelia); and his siblings, Phyllis Schneider (Bill), Paul Tollefson (Jan) and Tom Tollefson (Denise). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to Ascension Lutheran Church.
