He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Emma Crossman (Peterson) and Leeland Leroy Crossman; his stepsister Luella Schultz (Casey); and his former wife Barbara Lou Crossman (Hurlbut) of Miller, SD. He is survived by: his wife Pat Crossman (Duffey Closs); his daughter Leann Bigos (Joe); his grandchildren, Andrew Bigos (Holly), Philip Bigos (Christina) and Kimberly Messenger (Michael); his daughter Marylou Kristine Crossman-Little (Tom); his stepdaughter Diane Herrmann (Jon); his grandsons, Jack and Alex; his stepson Brian Closs (Pam); his grandchildren, Daniel, Nick, Susan Nelson (Collin), Emily, Sara, Jacob, Carol Plotnik (Jeff), Anna and Matthew; and also, Zeke, Dr. Nicole Hoiland, Morgan, Kian, Matthew Little, Kristin Nelson (Andrew), Kael and Ethan.
In lieu of flowers, our family asks that you donate to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or Presbyterian Homes of Bloomington where Leon received excellent care in his last year of life.
