He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Fashant and Leland Fashant; his brothers, Deane and Jerry; and his grandsons, Matthew, Joshua and Don.
He is survived by: his wife Veronica; his children, David (Crystal), Daniel (Anne), Jerry (Jean), Michele Fashant and Suzanne Nieson (Mark); his grandchildren, Christopher, Stephen, Rachael, Sarah, Kaia, David, Jessica, Julie, Jackson, Brianna, Nicholas, Brooke and Britta; his great grandchildren, Ryker, Carson, Skip, Henry, Cydney, Colton and Levi; his sister Phyllis Matson; and his sister-in-law Betty Fashant.
