She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Smith and Anita "Pat" Smith (Gombert); her husbands, Merlin Hardy and Earl; and her brother William Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Smith (Deborah) of Wabasha, Anita Seipel (Mike) of Maiden Rock and Billie Hanenberger (Tim) of Plum City; her brother Jim Smith (Marion) of Lyle, MN; and her sister-in-law Pansy Smith of Mazeppa. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; stepchildren and step grandchildren.
