She was predeceased by: her parents, Almer Kolberg and Edith Kolberg (Haller); her husband David "Jerry" Borgen; her granddaughters, Katie Sue and Briana Klindworth; and her siblings, Gwen, Norma Thomforde, Sue Hokenstrom, Tom and Byron Kolberg.
She is survived by: her children, David Borgen (Gina) of Red Wing, Debra Lawrence (Mitch) of Red Wing, Dawn Quist (Todd) of Hastings and Diane Torbenson (Keith) of Northfield; her grandchildren, D. J. (Amber), Tanner Borgen (Allison), Allison (Jeff), Morgan Quist (Kyle), Emily Makitalo (Cody) and Ryan Torbenson; and her siblings, Dorothy Jagusch, Jim Kolberg and Sandy Thompson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She also worked part-time at Shear Perfection, the Uffda Shop and up until the Covid pandemic, she was still working at Discovery Financial.
