He was predeceased by: his parents, Celestine Zylka and Mildred Zylka (Voglin); and his siblings-in-law, Julie Zylka, Roy Mallinson and Dan Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Lashinski of Red Wing; his children, Chris (Joey) of Red Wing and Kim Flatness (Jeff) of Elk Mound, Wis.; his grandchildren, Hannah, Josh Flatness, Hayden and Tatum Zylka; and his siblings, Ken of Little Falls, Greg (Wendy) of Little Falls, John (RaDonna) of Little Falls, Doug (Joelle) of Little Falls, Jeff Zylka (Jackie) of Little Falls, Marlene Mallinson of Little Falls and Terri Smith (Dave Neisinger) of Opal, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
