Eileen Gernentz Obituary

We bid farewell to Eileen Gernentz of Red Wing, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 25, 2024 at the age of 100. Eileen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Alden Gernentz of John's Lutheran Church; her parents, Otto and Laura; her siblings, Milton Mandelkow and Jean McManimon; and her great grandchild Lexis Halverson.

She is survived by: her children, Laurie Dosdall of Red Wing, Lynn Bush (Doug) of Lincoln, Nancy McMahon (Gene) of Red Wing, Tim Gernentz of Red Wing and Tom Gernentz (Joann) of Red Wing; and her grandchildren, Chris, Ryan, Jessica, Jennifer, Jerod, James and Kiel. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church (421 East Ave, Red Wing, MN 55066). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
