He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Ahern and Myrtle Ahern (Lorenson); and his brother Lawrence Ahern. He is survived by: his siblings, Dan Ahern (Elaine) of Red Wing and Cheryl Voorhees (Herbert) of Rogers, Arkansas; and his close friend Sue Huber of Red Wing. He is also survived by 3 nephews; 1 niece.
Memorials are preferred to the Red Wing Public Library.
