He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Hermanson and Corinne Hermanson (Haugen); his wife Jean Ida Hermanson; his in-laws, Emil, Lydia Hildebrandt, Howard and Phyllis Peterson; his sister Kay Solomon (Harvey); and his son-in-law Jeff Kath.
He is survived by: his friend Janell Salcedo; his daughters, Jayne Kath of Owatonna, Pamela Hermanson of Owatonna and Becky Hermanson-Hill of Owatonna; his son-in-law Jeff Hill (Janell Salcedo); his grandchildren, Stephanie Burke (Tyler), Lauren Barber, Sophia Starks (Jesse) and Piper Hill; his great grandchildren, Lenyx, Leightyn and Sterling Wayne; his stepdaughter Beth Steckler; his stepgrandchildren, Elly, Josh, Allyson Yennie and Kory Kath (Melissa); his siblings-in-law, Roger Peterson (Deb), Howard Peterson (Barb), Rick Peterson (Gretchen), Gary Peterson, Sue Whitney, Emma Amann (Ben), Margareta Oeltjenbruns (Walter), Yvonne Hildebrandt, Kathleen Svalland and Carolyn Chester; and also, Olivia, Owen, Sophia, Norah, Brennan, Natalee Eison (Shun), Landon, Logan, Leighton, Levi, Brandon Salcedo (Jenna), Blayke, Brayden and Brooklyn "Petunia". He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
