He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank W. Spindler and Irene J. (Warner); his brothers, Paul, Luverne and Eugene; and his grandson Tidal.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Deneau; his sons, Mark (Hannah) and Philip (Jaimi); his granddaughters, Skye and Emerald; and his siblings, Duane (Kathy) and Rosemary (Ivan Snorek). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Knights of Columbus of Owatonna or the Izaak Walton League.
