He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Kimbro and Shirley Kimbro; his parents-in-law, Emerson and Viola Henkensiefken; his sisters, Jackie and Karen Kimbro; and his brother-in-law Thomas Becker.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Henkensiefken; his daughter Miranda (Chris Steck); his siblings, Pat Scherbing, Judy Selig (Shawn), Debbie, Tim and Benjamin; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Youngerberg (Daryl), Delores Becker, David Henkensiefken, Gary Henkensiefken (Deb), Susan Stoltz (Bob), Karen Ditlevson (Rick) and Dale Henkensiefken (Crystal Young). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
