He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Nelson of Carver; his children, Eric Nelson (Jessica) of Waconia and Elyssa Srdar (Anthony) of Japan; his grandchildren, Marshall, Ophelia Srdar and William Nelson; his siblings, Scott Nelson (Heather McKay) of Robbinsdale, Susan Nelson (Tracy Allen) of Stanchfield, David Nelson of Mankato and John Nelson of Faribault; his pets, Reese and Porter; and his close friend Jeff Wertish.
