He was predeceased by: his grandfather Edward O'Brien; and his uncle Stephen Kubat. He is survived by: his father Ralph O'Brien (Penny); his wife Caitlin Hedberg; his children, Corbin, Scarlett and Milo; his mother Lisa Ackerman (Kubat); his stepfather Steve Ackerman; his brother Derek O'Brien (Lizz); his stepsiblings, Joel Ackerman (Madonna) and Kim Grabher (Chris); his nieces and nephews, Brody O'Brien, Wyld Ackerman, Brantley, Bennett Grabher, Nyomi, Scarlet Ackerman and Brielle Grabher; and his grandparents, Lenore O'Brien and Alvin Kubat (Sharon).
