He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Wandrey and Thedora Wandrey (Valentyn); his siblings, Alfred Wandrey, Richard Wandrey, Roger Wandrey and Pamela Bowe (Wandrey); his grandson Trever Kelling; his niece Belinda Demming; his parents-in-law, Jerry and Roselyn Rysavy; and his siblings-in-law, David Rysavy and Gail Rysavy (Borchert).
He is survived by: his wife Rita Wandrey (Rysavy); his children, Tricia Edmonson (James), Kellie Mabin (Thomas), Gary S. Wandrey, Regina Hawk (Keith), Jamie Wandrey (Jessica), Holly Anderson (John) and Jonathon Wandrey (Teresa); and his siblings, Brian Wandrey (Nan), Allienne Haarstad (Odean), Sandy Beaudoin, Dennis Wandrey (Debbie), Dianne Engelhart (Freddie), Greg Wandrey, LaRayne Wandrey and Patty Wandrey. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the American Cancer Society, Sacred Heart Church, Owatonna or Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Litomysl.
