We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2024, at the age of 89, Evelyn R Bernet of Owatonna, Minnesota, born in New Ulm, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Evelyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Evelyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kurt Sauer and Erna Sauer (Harms). She is survived by: her husband Dr. Robert L. Bernet of Owatonna; and her children, Julia Wacloff (Robert) of Tempe, AZ, Vincent Bernet (Suzanne) of Maplewood and Alicia Jacobsen (David) of Lakeville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren as well as nieces and a nephew.
