We bid farewell to Cologne Hortop of Owatonna, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 1, 2024 at the age of 88. Cologne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Jensen and Edna Jensen (Hofius); her husband Howard Hortop; her son Steve Hortop; her brother Dave Jensen; her granddaughter Megan Hortop; and her sister Baby Jensen.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Hortop (Donna Paschall) of Owatonna, Lori Gedicke (Mark) of Medford and John Hortop (Sue) of Faribault. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Memorials are preferred to Hospice Patient Fund and the Owatonna Hospital Auxiliary.
