He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Vivant; his significant other Mary Schoen; his father Wilmer Sr. Vivant; his children, Bruce and Billie Jo; his grandson Brian Korte; and his son-in-law Buford Faust.
He is survived by: his children, Dana Vivant (Leigh), Charene Faust and Laurie Vivant (Steve Nelson); and his grandchildren, Beau Vivant (Jesse), Ryan Vivant (Katie) and Kathy Hazeman (Jay). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
