We bid farewell to Karen Guillemette in Oakland, Minnesota, born in Crookston, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 20, 2025 at the age of 73. Karen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her stepfather Curtis Berard; and her brothers, Reynold and Gerald. She is survived by: her husband Jay Guillemette; her children, Scott and Laci Altepeter (Justin); her grandchildren, Carlee Peterson (Ben), Jay Peterson (Ava), Carter Peterson, Drake Peterson (Gavin), Cody Peterson and Clara Altepeter; her great grandchildren, Sara and Silas; and her sister Colleen Malwitz. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (112 Edward St NE, Red Lake Falls, MN 56750). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
