He was predeceased by: his brother Robert Harjes; and his son-in-law Mark Monson. He is survived by: his wife Dorothea; his children, Denise Monson Alms (Gene) of Lake Crystal, MN, Martina Knowles (James) of Dayton, OH and Thomas Harjes (Cheryl) of Eden Prairie; and his brother Roger Harjes (Holly) of Green Isle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
