He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Buckentine; and his grandparents, Henry, Lydia Buckentine, Harold and Florence Otto.
He is survived by: his mother Maxine Buckentine (Otto); his daughters, Brooke Simones (Matt) of Belle Plaine and Megan Kraemer (Jon) of Carver; his grandsons, Henry, Arthur, Nolan Simones and Otto Kraemer; and his brothers, Alan Buckentine (Nancy) of Cologne, John Buckentine (Jeanie) of Chaska, Daryl Buckentine and Randy Buckentine of Chaska. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
