He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Long and Grace Long (Durland); his great grandchildren, Sarah and Theodore Long; and his siblings, Jean Grover and Barb Rud.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Anne "Tanny" (Preiner); his children, Nanci Babcock (Ross), Joe Long (Jan), Patrick Long and Maria Parenteau (Paul); and his siblings, Gary Parno, Jerry Long (Karen), John Long and Cynthia Long. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
