With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sue Coons (New Prague, Minnesota), born in Romney, West Virginia, who passed away on January 23, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Mayhew and Priscilla Margaret Mayhew (Barnes); her husband Eugene; and her sisters, Glenna Mayhew and Lou Cutlip.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Newton (Rollie) of Underwood, IA, Vern Coons (Mary Jo) of New Prague and Terry Day (Jon) of Winterville, NC; her siblings, Lorraine Foster (Chuck) of Colorado Springs, CO, Polly Timbrook of Romney and William Mayhew (Debbie) of Romney; her sister-in-law Nadine Pogones (Ronnie) of Austin, MN; and her close friend Terry Murtaugh of New Prague. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
