He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Puncochar and Frances Puncochar (Seda); and his siblings, Leonard Puncochar, Edwin Puncochar (Irene), Clara Kes (Emil, Jr.), Julia Dvorak (Adolph) and Ludmilla Simek (Joe).

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Kay Puncochar of New Prague. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
