He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Schommer and June Schommer (Schmidt); his stepson Nick Vosejpka; and his nephew John Beckel. He is survived by: his close friend Brian Lohberger; his wife Brenda Schommer of New Prague; his stepchildren, Chad Vosejpka of Northfield, Josh Vosejpka (Nicci) of Northfield and Abbie Vosejpka of New Prague; his grandchildren, Carter of Madison, JJ, Jason, Oliver, Charlie and Nora; and his sisters, Carolyn Beckel (Ron), Ruth Pederson (Gary) and Mary Jo Effertz (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews, cousins, and good friends.
