She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Shonka and Alice Shonka (Nickel); and her daughter Katie. She is survived by: her husband Paul Sr.; her sons, Paul Jr. (Terri) and Matthew (Melissa); her grandchildren, Nathan, Sarah, Eric, Gabriella, Michael and Syl; and her siblings, Jean Gerold (Dave), Shelly Tietz (Rod), Steve Shonka (Cathy) and Dave "Buzz" Shonka (Amy).
