With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jonell Dowdell (New Prague, Minnesota), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 27, 2019 at the age of 36. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Rebecca Holmes; his aunt Sinnita Holmes; and his uncle Emory Dowdell. He is survived by: his parents, Linda Dowdell and Ronald Holmes of Austin; his brothers, Ron Dowdell (Cheryl) of Austin, Dee Dowdell of Austin, Gary Dowdell of Austin, Rondell Dowdell of New York, NY, Brian Porter (Toneisha) of Chicago, IL and Ashley Crews; his stepson Ethan Crews of New Prague; and his nieces and nephews, Yanna, Ellie, Dominique, Gabrielle, Kaylynn, Gemma, Isabelle, Quentin, Dashon, Dion and Elijah. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
