He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob A. Maxa and Audree A. Maxa (Sullivan). He is survived by: his siblings, Paul Maxa (Anne) of Richfield, Annie Kartak (Pete) of New Prague, June Downing (Randy) of Blaine, Kate Tabor (Bill) of Lakeville and Bill Maxa (Janell) of New Prague. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Masks and social distancing will be required in church and at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery where burial will occur immediately following Mass.

“I was very sad to hear about Bob passing. I haven't been to N.P. for quite some time and haven't seen Bob . I worked with him at Chart and would visit with him at the Corner Bar. He could really piss me off or make me laugh depending if we were at work or at the bar. I will have many fond memories of him. I'm sorry for your loss, he will be missed Syd Hager”
