He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph and Betty; his former wife Sharon; his siblings, Chuck, Joey and Theresa Selander; his parents-in-law, Donna and Les Barton; and his brother-in-law Bill Delaney.

He is survived by: his wife Pam Barton; his stepchildren, Andrea Bode (Jim), Kristie Groen (Josh), Tony Rehman (Lisa) and Rick Rehman; his grandchildren, Drake, Brayden, Jack, Lexie Haylee, Kooper, Maddie and Dilynn; and his siblings, Beverly Pannkuk (Jim), Jo Ann Delaney, Patti Van Meter, Mary Swenson (David), Michael (Patty), Nancy Roach (Mike), Richard, Marty (Linda), Jim (Nicole) and Bill (Kristy).
