It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Simo Sarkanen of New Brighton, Minnesota, born in Birmingham, West Midlands, who passed away on May 25, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antti Sarkanen and Hely Sarkanen. He is survived by: his son Matias; and his brother John (Hazel). He is also survived by his family, friends.
Memorials are preferred over flowers and may be made in Simo's memory to Christ Church Lutheran (christchurchluth.org) or toward a fund for Matias' future educational needs.
