He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Bendixen and Aster Bendixen; his wife Delores Freyholtz; his children, Kevin Bendixen (Carol), Keith Bendixen, Kendra Still (Tom) and Kristin Bendixen; his grandchildren, Kyle Phipps, James Phipps, Eric Bendixen, Aaron Still, Kevin Still, Alex Still and Alexa Bendixen; his siblings, Duane Bendixen and Shirley Nolting; and his son Kerry.
When Delores was living in Gil-Mor Manor with Parkinson's Disease, he went in every day and spent many hours with her and other Gil-Mor residents and staff.
